Lower Back Pain? Your Glutes May Be Part of the Problem

Lower back pain isn’t always just about the lower back. Sometimes the real issue starts lower down — with sleepy glutes.

Your glutes help support your hips, pelvis, knees and lower back when you walk, stand, bend and climb stairs. When they’re not doing their job properly, your lower back may start working overtime.

In this short video, I show you one of my go-to exercises: a simple dumbbell deadlift to help you feel how the glutes support the back. No rushing, no gripping, no drama — just good, honest movement.

If you have sharp pain, nerve symptoms, recent injury, or pain that is worsening, please check with a qualified health professional before trying new exercises.
