PILATES CLASSES IN WOKING TO STRENGTHEN THE CORE AND CORRECT POSTURAL ALIGNMENT

I am often asked whether Pilates is better than Yoga, so why not try both? I believe in empowering my class with education about the benefits of each pose. Principles are taken from physiotherapists and you are encouraged to work at your own pace linking breath to control each movement. Pilates is used to correct, realign and strengthen the core, including your back, which in turn safeguards the spine, your posture. Both yoga and pilates are excellent physiotherapy and will correct imbalances in muscles to give you superb core strength. It is a myth that yoga and pilates help you lose weight. That largely depends on how often you attend class and what you are eating and drinking. However, you are guaranteed a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and leave inspired.
